Furniture & Bulky Items

Moving Out?

Moving has a habit of revealing just how much stuff you’ve accumulated.

We can arrange waste clearance before or alongside your end of tenancy clean, removing unwanted items and rubbish before our cleaning team gets to work.

That means one company can take the property from still full of things you don’t want to empty, clean and ready to hand back.

For landlords and letting agents, we can do the same following a tenancy where items have been left behind, subject to the appropriate authority to remove them.

Landlords & Letting Agents

Abandoned furniture, unwanted belongings and accumulated rubbish can hold up an otherwise straightforward property turnaround.

Kelly Bennett provides waste clearance for landlords, letting agents and property managers across Bristol, either as a standalone service or as part of a complete changeover.

Once the property is clear, we can also arrange the cleaning.

One call. Empty property. Clean property. Ready property.

Commercial Waste Clearance

Offices and commercial premises occasionally need more than a wastepaper basket.

We can provide one-off clearances for suitable non-hazardous business waste, unwanted furniture, packaging and general contents.

For office moves, refurbishments, property handovers and other larger projects, speak to us beforehand so we can establish the type and quantity of waste and make the appropriate disposal arrangements.

We Don’t Just Make It Disappear.

Once somebody takes your rubbish away, you should be able to trust what happens to it next.

Waste has to be handled and disposed of properly. Using somebody simply because they have a van and an unusually attractive price can become rather less attractive if your belongings subsequently appear in a lay-by.

We use appropriate, lawful waste disposal routes and handle waste in accordance with the requirements applicable to the job.

Where materials can be diverted from general waste through appropriate reuse or recycling routes, we aim to do so.

Gone shouldn’t mean fly-tipped somewhere else.

What Can’t We Take?

Some waste requires specialist handling and can’t simply be loaded alongside general rubbish.

This can include certain:

Asbestos-containing materials
Chemicals and solvents
Clinical or infectious waste
Needles and sharps
Gas cylinders
Oils and fuels
Batteries
Paints and other hazardous liquids
Contaminated materials
Certain electrical or specialist waste

Tell us what you have when requesting your quotation.

If we’re able to arrange an appropriate disposal route, we’ll explain what’s required. If it needs a specialist contractor, we’ll tell you rather than pretending otherwise.

How Much Does Waste Clearance Cost?

The cost depends on more than how many things you can see.

Volume, weight, type of waste, disposal charges, access, stairs, parking and the number of people required can all affect the job.

A photograph is often worth several paragraphs of description.

Send us pictures of what needs removing, tell us where it is and mention anything that might make access interesting.

We’ll give you a clear quotation based on the job.

No mysterious van-load mathematics at the kerb.
